Job description

Grow Your Insurance Career with AAA Northeast – Sell, Succeed, and Advance!

We’re seeking Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Agents to join our Inside Sales team. This is a fully remote role focused on outbound sales, consultative conversations, and delivering exceptional service to AAA members. If you’re already licensed and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, this role offers strong earnings potential and long-term career growth.

Class Date: August 24, 2026

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm for your first 4-6 months.

Permanent Work Schedule: 11:30am-8:00pm 4 weekdays w/ 1 weekend day (Weekdays and Weekend days may change based on business needs

What You’ll Do

  • Sell auto insurance, homeowners insurance, and other personal lines products to AAA members via phone and online
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing members to promote insurance products
  • Provide personalized coverage recommendations and premium quotes based on member needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system
  • Participate in sales campaigns and promptly follow up on inbound referrals

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Follow carrier-specific underwriting and quoting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies for quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risk and ensure accuracy
  • Stay current on state insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and industry best practices

Additional Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with members and internal partners
  • Occasionally travel for training or team events (approximately 5%)
  • Deliver AAA Five Diamond Service in every interaction
  • Cross-sell AAA memberships and other relevant AAA products and services

Education

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate’s Degree preferred

Experience

  • 2+ years of insurance sales experience required
  • Outbound or consultative phone sales experience strongly preferred

Licensing

  • Active Personal Lines Insurance License required at time of hire
  • Ability to maintain license through required continuing education
  • Valid Life Insurance License preferred or willingly to obtain within 1 year
