Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Buyer 2, Indirect Purchasing to join our team in Franklin, TN.
This position is responsible for leading strategic sourcing for IT Services, Software and Professional Services Procurement contracting, negotiation, and supplier management activities for technology supporting the organization's global reinsurance, vehicle service contract, extended warranty, claims administration, and related financial services operations.
This role will manage a portfolio that may include extended warranty administration platforms, policy and contract management systems, claims processing applications, actuarial and financial reporting tools, cloud and hosting services, software development, systems integration, application maintenance, data services, cybersecurity solutions, and specialized professional services.
A Day in the Life

  • Combine strong procurement and negotiation capabilities with a working understanding of enterprise software, IT services, insurance-related operations, data governance, and global regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with business leadership, IT, Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, and regional procurement teams.
  • Presentation to executive management and leadership regularly.

Who We're Looking For
Required:
  • 3-5 years of related experience at a professional level.
  • Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree required. If Associate's degree, must have 4 additional years of equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel, with proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Franklin, TN.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
