Job description

Position Overview:
St. Thomas University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology faculty position. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and excellence of the university's psychology program through teaching, research, and service. The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in departmental and university service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, including but not limited to general psychology, research methods, abnormal psychology, and other specialized courses in the candidate's area of expertise.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction using innovative teaching methodologies, including online and blended formats.
  • Advise and mentor students regarding academic and career goals.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program assessment initiatives.
  • Engage in service activities at the department, college, and university levels.

Qualifications:
