POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable IT Business Systems Analyst to provide ongoing support and guidance for our ERP/MRP/Financial System. The ideal candidate will have held a similar role, will have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to design, create, and support new and existing applications and solutions. You will be responsible for generating and distributing key management reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and/or as needed basis. Frequent interactions with managers and employees are required as you will consult with various teams to train and provide guidance on solutions to help address their specific requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
End-User & Application Support
  • Provide Tier 1-2 support for ERP/MRP/Financial Systems
  • Troubleshoot production support issues, including critical issue resolution and ticket handling from business users
  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding, permissions and ERP/MRP/Financial System access
  • Acquires necessary knowledge and understanding of the ERP/MRP/Financial System front-end applications to help resolve system complications for the user base

Security & Compliance
  • Enforce access controls and security policies
  • Support audits and compliance activities
  • Acts as a primary advocate for the development of best practices and the appropriate use of customization, ensuring adherence to standards

Collaboration & Process Support
  • Partner with Sales Operations on process changes and tool adoption
  • Work with Finance on reporting accuracy and audit requests
  • Support Operations with order processing and system workflows

Systems Administration & Maintenance
  • Oversees all aspects of the ERP/MRP/Financial System, including back-end components
  • Hardware, software, and operating system updates on the IBM i platform for Production and Test environments
  • Maintain current applications and job control programs as well as transition to other applications where appropriate
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation for the ERP/MRP/Financial System (i.e., Production, Test, Disaster Recovery)
  • Actively participates in ongoing design and architecture discussions.

Sales, Finance & Operations Systems
  • Support CRM related platforms (i.e., HubSpot) for Sales users
  • Support ERP and finance systems (i.e., Infor XA, Infor F9) for Finance users
  • Collaborate with IT, developers, and end-users to review potential system enhancements, define requirements and ensure technical solutions meet business needs and system requirements
  • Helps support and create applications and/or solutions for IBM Power Systems using native or external development tools and up to date programming techniques to ensure optimal functionality and sustainability

REQUIrements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology plus five (5) years of related experience; or 10+ years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of general experience in ERP/MRP/Financial Systems Support, EDI and Project Management. Experience with Infor XA preferred but not required
  • 2+ year(s) of experience querying SQL Databases, working with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Working knowledge of RPG and RPG-FREE (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, as well as knowledge of business processes and ERP system features within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools fundamentals.
  • Basic foundation in database concepts and relational database design.
  • Experience testing, debugging, and modifying applications utilizing multiple applications, CL, Webservices, XML, .Net, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • A proven passion for technology and programming, continuous improvement, and proactive in identifying and presenting potential solutions. Must be self-motivated, organized, and can work independently or as a team player.
  • Acts as a flexible contributor to problem-solving outside of defined role.
  • Experience with API Management, Scripting, Automation or Data Integration Tools preferred but not required.
