Job description

Production Manufacturing Associate

Starting at $18.00+/Hour | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Holland, Ohio 43528

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing job where you can learn new skills and build a long-term career?

Dynamic Dies is hiring Production Manufacturing Associates to join our Holland, Ohio team. You'll learn how to create custom tooling used by manufacturers in the corrugated packaging industry. This position combines hands-on production, equipment operation, measuring, quality inspection, and problem-solving.

No previous experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training.

If you're dependable, enjoy working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we'll teach you the specialized skills needed to be successful.

What You'll Learn to Do

Our products are custom-made, so this isn't a traditional production line where you make the same part all day. Depending on your assignment and training, you'll learn different parts of our manufacturing process.

Your work may include:

  • Creating custom steel rule tooling using job specifications and manufacturing drawings

  • Producing printing plates with specialized production equipment

  • Positioning and mounting printing plates according to individual customer requirements

  • Finishing and preparing completed plates for production

  • Creating proofs and checking completed work for accuracy

  • Using tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions

  • Setting up and operating equipment used throughout the manufacturing process

  • Inspecting products before they move to the next stage of production

  • Identifying quality issues and working with team members to correct problems

  • Following established safety and production procedures

  • Maintaining an organized and safe work area

Accuracy is important in this position. Because our products are manufactured to individual customer specifications, you'll need to pay attention to measurements, instructions, and details throughout the production process.

Who We're Looking For

Previous manufacturing experience can be helpful, but it isn't what matters most to us. We're looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn, and take pride in doing quality work.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Enjoy working with tools, equipment, or machinery

  • Prefer an active, hands-on work environment

  • Can follow detailed work instructions

  • Have basic math skills

  • Can accurately read a tape measure

  • Pay attention to details and notice when something isn't right

  • Are comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout your shift

  • Work well independently and as part of a team

  • Have dependable attendance

  • Take workplace safety seriously

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, machine operation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, woodworking, printing, or another hands-on environment is a plus, but not required.

Pay & Work Schedule

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour or higher depending on experience.

Openings available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. 2nd and 3rd shift offer a $1.00/hr shift differential as well.

Overtime, including occasional Saturdays, may be required depending on production needs.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid holidays

  • Paid time off

What Does Dynamic Dies Make?

Think about the corrugated boxes you see every day - packages delivered to your home, boxes on store shelves, food and beverage packaging, and containers used to ship products across the country.

Before many of those boxes can be produced, manufacturers need specialized tooling to cut and print them.

That's where we come in.

Dynamic Dies has been manufacturing tooling for the corrugated packaging industry since 1971. What began as a small family business has grown into a multi-location manufacturing company employing more than 200 people.

Through that growth, we've remained family-owned and committed to the values that helped build our company: hard work, respect, teamwork, quality, and pride in getting the job done right.

Dynamic Dies has been recognized as a Top Workplace in 2017, 2021, and 2024, based on feedback from our employees.

Start With Us. Learn With Us. Grow With Us.

You don't need to know how to build a steel rule die or mount a printing plate before you walk through our doors. These are specialized manufacturing skills, and we'll train you to do the job.

What we're looking for is someone who will show up, learn, pay attention to the details, and take pride in what they produce.

If you're ready to turn a manufacturing job into a long-term career, apply today to join Dynamic Dies as a Production Manufacturing Associate.
