This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with full stack software development, including designing, developing, modifying, and implementing custom web-based software applications
  • 3+ years of experience with back-end software development using Java, Python, or NodeJS
  • 3+ years of experience with React, Leaflet, D3, JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, SQL, Server-Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, or Core Application Systems
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including AWS Gov Cloud, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
  • Experience with software development processes, including unit tests, CI/CD processes, and using Git for version control
  • Experience working with non-SQL and SQL database development, including Postgres
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including use of technologies, such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Rancher
  • Knowledge of front-end design and data visualization techniques and best practices and UI and UX methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
  • Experience with API development and OAuth
  • Experience with serverless architecture, such as Lambda and API Gateway
  • Experience with implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects, and designing and implementing UI for artificial intelligence or machine learning applications
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and distill information into coherent and compelling narratives, making it accessible to a broad audience
  • Secret clearance
  • AWS Gov Cloud or AWS Certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
