Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support a company focused on federal law enforcement and mission-critical data platforms. This is an on-site role in Washington, D.C. The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will support the development of their internal system using a modern Postgres/Java/React stack while partnering with an established agile team to deliver MVP capabilities. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to a secure, large-scale enterprise platform supporting national security efforts.

Responsibilities for the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer include:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end application components
  • Integrate system components, enhance existing codebases, and build new custom capabilities
  • Participate across the full SDLC including planning, requirements, development, testing, and QA
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Test Engineers to deliver features meeting acceptance criteria
  • Support CI/CD, application deployments, automation, and adherence to secure coding and accessibility standards

Required Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer include:

  • 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience with Java, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and relational databases (Postgres preferred)
  • Experience with REST APIs, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Agile methodologies
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required

Compensation for the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer include:

  • Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
