Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support high-quality solutions for our member and agent portals, driving our growing business strategies. This hands-on role requires expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies within a microservices architecture hosted on AWS, with regular collaboration across onshore and offshore engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain application features across frontend (React, Next.js) and backend services (Python, Go, Node.js).

Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to the technical strategy of applications and services.

Implement RESTful APIs and backend services aligned with SOLID principles and microservices best practices.

Write clean, testable, maintainable code with appropriate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Manage services throughout the full SDLC: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Work within an Agile team environment alongside product owners, QA, and engineers to deliver incremental value.

Collaborate closely with offshore team members, ensuring clear requirements, shared understanding of design, and coding standards.

Coordinate handoffs and overlap with offshore teams to maintain project velocity and dependency management.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers (both onshore and offshore) through code reviews, pairing, and coaching.

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements to enable automated, reliable deployments on AWS.

Work with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Kubernetes/EKS for container orchestration.

Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and meet both internal and external customer requirements.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance capabilities and productivity.

Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Explore opportunities to leverage Amazon Bedrock and prompt engineering for intelligent feature development (if applicable).
