Always mindful of the changes in the company, its industry, etc., over time that might create a change in their financial service needs.
As theBusiness Banking Relationship Officer Sr., you will be selling bank products and services to companies with revenues between $1mm-$25mm. These products and services are Commercial & Industrial, Practice Finance and Payment Technologysolutions that will entice prospective companies to award new business to UMB. You will engage and build relationshipsin the community with Business Owners, CFO's,CEO's,and Controllers. You will also manage existing business,maintainingrelationship profitability & portfolio risk, and theprofitable growth of the portfolio includingloans, deposits, & fee income.Youhave the ability tohelp clients achieve their financial dreams, streamline businessprocessesand help them better understand theirworkingcash flow needs.
Howyou'llspend your time:
- You willutilizeyour networking abilities in the community byparticipatingin community and professional activitiesin order toenhance UMB's image and brand to build new business.
- You willutilizeyour credit skills to qualify companies eligible for loan business while managingthe overall credit quality of assigned portfolio to ensure the loan quality.
- You willutilizeyour negotiation skills to negotiate loan proposals, analyze & evaluate credit requests & write loan commitments, for presentation to underwriter or loan committee for loan approval.
- Utilizing your communications skills, you will serve as the primary contact for all financial services to individual Business Banking clients with the bank to ensure retention of business.

- Youpossessabachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of up to7years in a commercial lending role.
- Youhavedemonstratedexperience in sales to small businesses, credit knowledge, and credit underwriting knowledge.
- Youhave strategic industry sales knowledge, and marketing abilitiestothose industries.

Compensation Range:
$98,208 - $144,705
