Information Technology Solutions Engineer
Full-Time Salary Position
Work location: Morristown, TN (on-site only)

Position summary:
Provide high-level technical solutions and ongoing support for client environments. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, virtualization, network, cloud, and database issues; manage projects and client relationships. This is an on-site position - relocation or local commute required; no remote option.
Key responsibilities:
  1. Provide desktop and server support (Windows client and server environments).
  2. Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra).
  3. Manage virtualization (Hyper-V preferred) and Windows Server configuration.
  4. Configure and troubleshoot network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, APs).
  5. Support SQL Server databases.
  6. Perform onsite client visits, remote support, documentation, and project work.
  7. Maintain documentation, security best practices, and disaster-recovery procedures.

Position Standards:
  1. Experience supporting business level technology solutions for a minimum of three years
  2. Proven experience in the areas of position responsibility
  3. Demonstrate effective troubleshooting and apply disciplined escalation based on the situation
  4. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record as a collaborative team contributor
  5. Relevant and current technology certifications preferred
  6. Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record required

Required qualifications:
  1. 3+ years supporting business IT environments.
  2. Strong Windows client & server, networking, and Microsoft 365 experience.

Preferred:
  1. Relevant certifications (MCSA/Azure/AWS, CompTIA Network+/Security+, etc.).

Physical Requirements:
Position requires a combination of sitting and physical activity (standing, walking, bending, kneeling); requires lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs, climbing/working from ladders 6 ft or higher, and use of hand/power tools.
