ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Manager, Modern Endpoint Engineer, you will drive modernization and technical direction for a highly visible endpoint platform, ensuring solutions meet business needs while balancing security, supportability, and end-user experience. This role also owns key architecture deliverables within the Endpoint space.

The role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with accountability for architecture governance, operating model discipline, and design quality-ensuring solutions are scalable, aligned to standards, and consistently executed.

You will partner closely with the Endpoint Manager and engineering team to drive roadmap alignment, solution design, and execution across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.

This role works cross-functionally-particularly with InfoSec (GIS)-to integrate modern deployment solutions and cloud-first strategies, supporting project delivery, M&A activity, and ongoing operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead endpoint solutioning across Windows, macOS, and mobile, combining hands-on engineering expertise with conceptual and logical architecture design

  • Define and enforce endpoint architecture governance, including standards, templates, checklists, policies, and quality frameworks

  • Define and manage endpoint roadmap, including feature prioritization, vendor insights, roadmap cadence, and improvement of project submission and resource estimation quality

  • Partner with engineering teams to validate feasibility, guide PoCs, and ensure solutions align with architecture standards and enterprise design expectations

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in the endpoint ecosystem, including hardware, OS, applications, security, and end-user experience considerations

  • Set and monitor MSP standards, SLAs/XLAs, and performance metrics while ensuring adherence to security policies and infrastructure management processes

  • Guide teams on architecture practices and collaborate across teams to drive consistent execution, continuous improvement, and resolution of complex technical issues, including leading major incident response, engaging vendors, and providing on-call support as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • University Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the Endpoint and Desktop Management space including but not limited to systems design, implementation and support.

    • Strong understanding of Modern Device Management concepts, the Digital Workspace Industry direction, Enterprise sized Endpoint ecosystem use cases, including Windows OS, Mac OS, and Mobile concepts.

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in two or more of the following:

    • Administration, configuration and design for Modern Endpoint Management (Microsoft Intune, JAMF)

    • Experience working with at least two of the following: Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, SCCM, GPO, or CPC

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Transformative experience with Endpoint services in medium to large sized company.

Experience in mergers and acquisitions work.

Proven track record of a cross team collaborative approach

Experience with Microsoft Office 365

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome difficult challenges

Strong interpersonal and team building skills

Microsoft and/or Intune certifications are a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Time- regular schedule for corporate

  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period.

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
