Job description

Production support Engineers - (2 Mechanical/1 Electrical)

Job Description:

Expected Duration: 6 months (to start with)

Location: Plattsburgh, NY

Highly desired the following qualification:

  • Experience in the rail industry for at least 5 years
  • Experience on NJT Multilevel train project either in design or manufacturing
  • Hands on work experience on production support on Work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.
  • Hands on harness design or manufacturing knowledge (specific to Electrical Methods Engineer)
  • Hands on experience on Catia V5 (expert level), 3D-COM / ENOVIA, PDM, SAP VSM, SAP GSI

Desired Knowledge / Experience

  • 5 years experience in Manufacturing background with preferably in the railway industry.
  • Technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, MODs, CRs, QNs etc.
  • Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
  • Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.

Educational Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Engineering, Natural Science, or related Field
  • English (read, written, spoken)
