Job description


General Statement of Duties:
The Admissions Coordinator supports the College's enrollment, recruitment, and yield goals through the development and execution of strategic, creative, and data-informed enrollment communications. This position leads the creation and management of digital and social media content that nurtures the marketing and enrollment funnel through digital engagement and CRM-aligned communication strategies, guiding prospective students from inquiry through registration.
Working collaboratively with Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Admissions staff, the coordinator creates and manages original social media and digital marketing content including short-form video, graphics, photography, and written storytelling to increase reach, engagement, and conversion. The role executes organic social media outreach and CRM-aligned campaigns, integrating social content across multiple digital communication channels, and using performance insights to refine messaging. The coordinator regularly captures on-campus and community-based stories that highlight students, programs, and campus life, ensuring communications are timely, platform-appropriate, and student-centered.
Responsibilities:
  • Creation and execution of enrollment-focused communication plans by student type, coordinating communication plans aligned with marketing, recruitment, conversion, and yield priorities via TargetX CRM (email/phone/text/USPS).
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, and Enrollment Management teams to align digital and social content with CRM-based communication plans.
  • Work closely with Associate Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Enrollment Management Data to produce content that complements email, SMS, chat, and outreach workflows within the admissions funnel.
  • Support outreach tied to specific enrollment milestones, including inquiry generation, application promotion, onboarding, and registration readiness.
Digital Content Creation & Multimedia Production
  • Create original photo, video, and digital content for Admissions, Marketing, Enrollment Management, and institutional use across social media, websites, CRM campaigns, and digital advertising.
  • Provide videography and photography for on-campus events, recruitment activities, college programs, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Edit and optimize multimedia content for platform-specific use, ensuring accessibility and brand consistency.
Social Media Management & Engagement
  • Execute day-to-day social media content scheduling, publishing, and community engagement across college platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries and engagement via social channels in coordination with Admissions, Marketing, Enrollment Management staff.
  • Provide live or near real-time social media coverage of college events, recruitment activities, and community-based outreach.
  • Monitor trends, emerging platforms, and engagement analytics to inform content planning and outreach strategies.
CRM & Campaign Support
  • Coordinate with Admissions, Marketing, Enrollment Management teams to support CRM-aligned outreach campaigns through content development and digital amplification.
  • Assist with maintaining campaign timelines and content alignment with recruitment and academic calendars.
  • Track basic engagement metrics and assist with reporting to support evaluation of campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate divisional CMR Comm Plan Committee
Digital Asset & Brand Management
  • Manage and maintain the MWCC's photo and digital asset library, ensuring assets are organized, current, and accessible.
  • Ensure all content adheres to college branding, accessibility, and style guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications staff to maintain consistent visual identity across platforms.
Collaboration & Outreach
  • Work collaboratively with all Enrollment Management offices, and other campus partners to support enrollment and outreach initiatives.
  • Support student ambassador and student-led content initiatives through strategic content creation and digital storytelling.
  • Participate in planning meetings and digital strategy performance reviews, contributing creative ideas that enhance enrollment communications and digital engagement.
Other Duties
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of college enrollment and marketing objectives.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Three years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or marketing communications.
  • Demonstrated experience using social media platforms, specifically Meta (Instagram and Facebook) TikTok, or comparable channels, for marketing and engagement.
  • Working knowledge of digital photography and videography, including editing tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting higher education enrollment or admissions communications.
  • Familiarity with CRM-supported marketing or recruitment campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards for digital content.

Additional Information:
Campus Title: Coordinator of Enrollment Communications & Digital Content
Salary: $78,818.00 - $134,343.00
Actual Salary determined by education, experience, and any applicable grant limitations per the collective bargaining agreement. Applicants should be aware it is unlikely the salary will be at or near the top of the range.
