JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Associate – Industrial Real Estate

LOCATION: Philadelphia/Conshohocken, PA

BASIC FUNCTION:

Binswanger is a leading international real estate organization providing a complete range of services to corporate and institutional clients through offices around the world, including brokerage services, property management, asset management, asset recovery, appraisal, real estate marketing and transaction services.

This position will support the general sales activities of Binswanger’s Greater Philadelphia Team through property and deal analytics, market research, canvassing and development of presentations and proposals. In addition, the Sales Associate forecasts and tracks activities related to client transactions and identifies potential business opportunities.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

The Sales Associate reports to, and receives direction from, a Partner and Executive Vice President of Sales.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data related to client transactions
  • Collect and analyze data relating to commercial real estate market trends
  • Formulation of vital information to marketing presentations
  • Forecast and track activities related to client transactions
  • Identify potential business opportunities through cold calling and other efforts
  • Aiding the Mid Atlantic brokerage team in brokerage activities such as building inspections, returning prospect phone calls, deal analysis, execution of transactions

EXPERINCE KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Real Estate, Finance or related field.
  • Experience in commercial real estate.
  • Obtain Pennsylvania Real Estate License.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and interpret information to develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Argus.
  • Experience using computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and resourceful with the ability to multi-task against deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel between offices and to visit real estate clients and sites
