Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to join our team in Plainville, CT. In this role, you will set the long-term vision for the company’s marketing function, providing strategic leadership across all branding, communications, digital marketing, and growth initiatives. This position is responsible for driving market expansion, brand equity, and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and enterprise-wide collaboration. The Senior Director partners closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with the organization's broader business goals and future direction.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals, growth strategy, and market positioning.
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the marketing function, including brand development, digital marketing, content marketing, public relations, corporate communications, proposal development, and marketing collateral.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Marketing team, establishing clear responsibilities, priorities, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and Business Development to align marketing resources and priorities with the company’s strategic growth objectives, target markets, and key pursuits.
  • Oversee the company’s brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging, visual identity, and quality across all marketing channels and client-facing materials.
  • Lead market research and competitive intelligence initiatives to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, client needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, content creation, events, and traditional media.
  • Establish and monitor marketing KPIs and provide senior leadership with reporting and recommendations regarding marketing performance, proposal activity, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and external marketing vendors, agencies, and resources.

RFQ/RFP & Proposal Management

  • Lead and oversee the company’s RFQ, RFP, Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), and other competitive proposal response processes from solicitation through submission and interview.
  • Establish proposal schedules, responsibilities, milestones, review cycles, and submission deadlines for assigned pursuits.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal kickoff meetings in coordination with Business Development, technical leadership, and pursuit teams.
  • Review solicitation requirements and develop compliance requirements to ensure all submissions are complete, responsive, and compliant with client instructions.
  • Coordinate the preparation, writing, editing, formatting, production, and delivery of proposals, SOQs, qualification packages, and related pursuit materials.
  • Coordinate technical and executive reviews and ensure comments, revisions, and approvals are incorporated into final submissions.
  • Oversee electronic and physical proposal production and submission, including client procurement and bidding portals.
  • Monitor proposal progress, identify schedule or compliance risks, and communicate pursuit status to Business Development and proposal teams.

Marketing Content & Proposal Resources

  • Maintain and continuously improve the company’s library of employee resumes, project sheets, project descriptions, organizational charts, capability statements, graphics, and other reusable proposal content.
  • Develop and maintain an approved language library containing corporate messaging, qualifications, technical narratives, differentiators, and standard proposal content.
  • Ensure marketing and proposal templates remain current, professional, consistent with company branding, and adaptable to client requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical staff and Business Development to capture new project experience, qualifications, and differentiators for future pursuits.
  • Maintain organized electronic proposal files, archived submissions, project experience records, and marketing databases.

Qualifications & Prequalification Management

  • Oversee client prequalification programs, annual qualification packages, vendor registrations, and related corporate submissions.
  • Maintain a centralized system for tracking prequalification requirements, expiration dates, registrations, certifications, and renewal deadlines.
  • Coordinate with executive leadership, Finance, Legal, Safety, Human Resources, and technical teams as necessary to obtain required qualification and proposal information.
  • Maintain proposal and prequalification tracking logs and ensure accurate reporting of pursuit activity.
  • Track proposal outcomes, shortlist rates, interview results, awards, and other pursuit metrics to evaluate proposal effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Graphics, Production & Interview Support

  • Oversee the development of proposal graphics, organizational charts, project visuals, presentations, and other client-facing materials in coordination with Marketing and technical teams.
  • Ensure proposals and presentations maintain consistent branding, messaging, visual quality, and professional standards.
  • Oversee proposal layout, formatting, printing, binding, electronic production, and final quality-control reviews.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, presentation development, leave-behind materials, and other supporting documents.
  • Support pursuit teams in developing interview strategy, presentation content, and messaging.
  • Coordinate interview rehearsals and ensure presentation teams are prepared with high-quality, consistent materials.

Corporate Communications & Brand Management

  • Oversee corporate communications, public relations, website content, social media, industry events, sponsorships, and other activities supporting the company’s reputation and market presence.
  • Serve as a company spokesperson in public relations activities, managing media relations and ensuring positive brand representation.
  • Foster relationships with key partners, agencies, vendors, and industry organizations that enhance the company’s marketing capabilities and brand exposure.
  • Ensure marketing, proposal, and communications activities comply with applicable company policies, client requirements, and industry standards.

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level marketing functions, managing brand evolution, and achieving measurable business results.
  • Experience with market expansion, corporate brand strategy, and executive-level communications.
