Job description

Position Description:

Due to a rapid advancement in our work, we are seeking the employment of a talented Program Coordinator. In this role, you will get to work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure strategic objectives are being met and coordinated between internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the job will require interacting with our customers, vendors and employees at all levels in the organization. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Simultaneously managing deliverables and actions on multiple programs
  • Tracking schedule and budget performance against estimates
  • Capturing, documenting, and reporting on project status in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) environment
  • Working with Engineering to define goals, timelines, and budget estimates
  • Communicating progress regularly to customers
  • Preparing status reports for upper management
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years of Program Coordinator experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Familiarity with project management practices is desired
  • Sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals
  • Able to thrive in fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or finance discipline
  • Competency in an EVMS tool such as Deltek Cobra or forProject
  • Competency in Microsoft Project
  • Government contracting experience
  • Active Security Clearance
