Associate Director, Admissions:

The Associate Director of Admissions is a hands-on, KPI-driven leadership role responsible for driving enrollment performance while leading and developing a team of Admissions Representatives. This role operates as a player-coach, actively recruiting and enrolling students while leading daily operations, coaching team performance, and driving individual and team enrollment results.

Success in this role is measured by individual enrollment contribution, team performance, and the consistent achievement of defined KPIs. This role holds direct accountability for enrollment performance at both the individual and team level.

Essential Functions:

Enrollment Leadership (Player-Coach Responsibility):

  • Actively recruit, engage, and enroll prospective students while maintaining a personal enrollment contribution
  • Identify performance gaps and implement targeted coaching strategies to improve individual and team results
  • Model best-in-class, ethical, and consultative admissions practices
  • Own the full lifecycle of prospective student engagement from inquiry through enrollment

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead day-to-day performance oversight and coaching of the Admissions Representative team
  • Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, coaching to KPIs, and holding team members accountable to enrollment outcomes
  • Drive performance and develop team members to consistently meet and exceed activity and enrollment goals
  • Ensure all Admissions Representatives maintain current knowledge of programs, admissions processes, and effective enrollment strategies

Operations, Compliance & Strategy:

  • Maintain accurate and timely tracking of enrollment activity across all academic programs
  • Monitor adherence to required outreach, follow-up cadence, and CRM documentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accrediting, state, and federal regulations
  • Contribute to enrollment forecasting, staffing planning, and advertising strategy through data-driven insights
  • Participate in departmental meetings, graduation ceremonies, and university events as required
  • Provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and all university stakeholders
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in a leadership role within admissions or enrollment management in higher education
  • Experience managing teams while maintaining direct student enrollment responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of institutional, accrediting, state, and federal regulations in higher education
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a culturally diverse environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and technology platforms used in admissions and enrollment management

Compensation:

  • $85,000-$95,000 annually
  • Compensation is based on education, experience, internal equity, and demonstrated enrollment and leadership performance
