THE POSITION:

STACK is seeking a Director, Asset Management, who will support key members of the senior team and be responsible for overseeing the profitability and performance of our data center assets in the East Region of the Americas (primarily Northern Virginia). This position manages the strategic oversight of the East Region portfolio by working with and successfully coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal asset management strategies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support portfolio performance oversight across STACK's East Region data center assets, including monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on key financial and operational metrics.

  • Collaborate with finance in maintaining asset-level financial models, including projections, stabilized yield, and ROIC analyses, to identify value creation opportunities and optimize performance.

  • Partner with senior team members to shape and execute asset- and portfolio-level strategies that enhance profitability and operational excellence.

  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to assess performance against business plans and identify variances or improvement areas.

  • Create and execute on annual strategic business plans for each asset.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Critical Operations, and Property Management on the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Conduct market and industry research to inform investment, leasing, and operational strategies.

  • Support lease administration and other property-level management initiatives to ensure data integrity and compliance with lease terms.

  • Other responsibilities as required

THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Northern Virginia (Hybrid)

  • Travel: Up to 15% domestically

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field required.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in asset management, corporate real estate, or financial analysis; data center or infrastructure experience preferred.

  • Proven analytical skills with strong understanding of P&L analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization or BI tools a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
