Role Brief:
We are looking for a highly consultative and technically versatile Associate Director, Analytics to lead strategic client engagements within the construction and built-environment domain. This individual will act as the primary face of our organization for the client, driving stakeholder engagement, analytics consulting, solution strategy, and delivery governance.
The ideal candidate is someone who started their career as a hands-on software engineer or developer and has evolved into a client-facing consulting and engagement leadership role with strong expertise across analytics, data engineering, BI, backend APIs, and modern application architectures.
This role requires a unique blend of business consulting and stakeholder management, analytics and data strategy, technical architecture understanding, delivery leadership, strong communication and executive presence. The person should be comfortable operating across both boardroom discussions and deep technical conversations with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary engagement lead and trusted advisor for construction domain clients.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders across business, operations, analytics, and technology teams.
  • Lead discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution discussions.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable analytics and technology solutions.
  • Drive strategic conversations around data modernization, reporting transformation, operational analytics, and digital enablement.
  • Facilitate executive presentations, steering committee updates, and roadmap discussions.
  • Lead consulting initiatives across Business Intelligence and reporting, Operational analytics, KPI and metrics framework definition, Data modernization initiatives, Data quality and governance programs, Workflow and process optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights and automation.
  • Work closely with business users to define analytical requirements and success metrics.
  • Provide architectural and technical guidance across: Data Engineering, Backend/API integrations, Full-stack application ecosystems, BI and visualization platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on solution design, integration patterns, and scalability considerations.
  • Review technical approaches and ensure alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Lead end-to-end engagement governance including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure predictable delivery through structured execution and proactive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, architects, analysts, and application developers.
  • Drive program tracking, status reporting, and milestone management.

Requirements:
  • 10-15+ years of experience in analytics consulting, data engineering, BI, or enterprise technology delivery.
  • Strong client-facing consulting and engagement management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale analytics or digital transformation programs.
  • Prior hands-on software development or coding experience during early career is mandatory.
  • Experience working with construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial clients is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake & Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, SQL and enterprise analytics ecosystems, reporting and dashboarding platforms
  • Experience defining enterprise KPI frameworks and operational reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on understanding of modern BI platforms and reporting ecosystems.
  • Experience driving executive dashboards and business performance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of backend systems and API-driven architectures.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
  • Working knowledge of modern application architecture and full-stack ecosystems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of scalable enterprise data and analytics architectures.
