Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure quality and performance of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair activities and the documentation of failure data.
2. Monitor employee performance and regularly provide employee feedback. Empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.
3. Develop and train staff to meet production needs.
4. Work within established safety and quality standards.
5. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
6. Understand, Create, Simplify.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Two-year associate's degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience
Meet all duties and responsibilities of an Equipment Maintenance Technician II
Associate's degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience
Two years manufacturing-related technical experience with in-depth understanding of manufacturing equipment programming, maintenance, and repair
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor staff
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Expertise in Excel, Word, Access and maintenance software
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment
Basic knowledge of printed circuit board assembly, mechanical assembly, and cable assembly processes

Pay Range Data
New hires generally start between $40.50-$59.85 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
