As a Senior Analyst, Facility Designer, you will collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to develop and refine interior CAD designs that optimize space allocation and meet business requirements. You will conduct quality assurance reviews, identify design improvements, and ensure timely delivery of accurate plans using computer-aided drafting software. This role requires providing expert guidance, supporting business solutions, and maintaining compliance with company standards. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting Walmart’s commitment to excellence through innovative and precise facility design.
About the team:
The Store Design Execution team transforms strategic plans into practical store environments. Collaborating across departments, the team develops and maintains customer-focused store layouts, merchandise plans, and facility designs that support remodels, new store openings, and operational goals. By integrating analytics, business priorities, operational needs, and field insights, the team delivers scalable design solutions that enhance the shopping experience and support associates in serving customers effectively. This team applies expertise in computer-aided design and business requirements to create innovative, efficient, and accurate store environments aligned with company objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to provide design recommendations aligned with business requirements.
  • Create and modify interior CAD designs, producing detailed scale plans based on preliminary concepts and design guidelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of interior designs, identifying root causes of errors and implementing corrective adjustments.
  • Submit design drafts for review, revise as needed, and maintain existing designs to optimize space allocation.
  • Support business solutions by building partnerships, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Apply expertise to develop and improve action plans that meet customer and business needs.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
