As a Floral Designer, you'll be a part of a creative team making arrangements that inspire and delight. Whether it's a romantic wedding, dinner party, corporate event or a simple bouquet that brightens someone's day. You'll have access to a variety of premium flowers arriving weekly from growers and will experiment with textures, color and styles turning blooms into living art.
Job Responsibilities
§ Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and daily orders from our curated collections ensuring that each piece reflects our signature style.
§ Assist customers in understanding their vision by offering creative suggestions on design, flowers, vessels and accent materials.
§ Develop an understanding of the Tipton Hurst styles of design and accurately create designs based on established standards.
§ Stay ahead of trends in floral design and offer suggestions on new techniques and seasonal palettes.
§ Maintain a clean, organized and inspiring workspace, including proper flower care and storage.
§ Assist with floral preparation for events including on-site installations.
§ Ability to work additional hours in the evening or weekend on occasions for large weddings.
Requirements
§ Two years of proven experience as a floral designer with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles and styles.
§ Knowledge of flower varieties, seasonality and care techniques.
§ An eye for color, texture with the ability to translate ideas into creative designs.
§ Ability to work under time constraints especially during peak seasons and events.
