Job Description

Transcend Dental Health, a leading holistic and biological dental practice in Round Rock, Texas, is excited to announce an opportunity for an Associate Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for those passionate about providing exceptional dental care with a whole-body approach in a nurturing and patient-focused environment.

The part-time Associate Dentist role involves working directly with patients to provide superior dental care and consultations while maintaining our commitment to holistic practices. Please note that this is not a remote job, and the candidate will be required to work on-site in our Round Rock, Texas, location.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform initial dental assessments and evaluate patient dental health.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with holistic dental practices.
  • Perform clinical dental procedures such as extractions, fixing or removing damaged teeth, and filling cavities.
  • Operate and interpret dental radiography (X-rays).
  • Utilize CEREC technology for crown and bridge work to ensure high-quality restorative treatments.
  • Prescribe and administer medications as needed to manage dental and post-procedural pain, ensuring alignment with holistic health practices.
  • Measure and fit dental appliances with precision, ensuring patient comfort and appliance effectiveness.
  • Maintain patient records with accuracy, detailing all procedures performed and treatments planned.
  • Refer patients to dental specialists when conditions exceed the practice scope.
  • Stay current with advances in dentistry, particularly within holistic and biologically based practices.
  • Support and educate patients on the importance of overall health in dental care and practices.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license and malpractice insurance.
  • Proficiency in modern dental technology, including digital radiography and CEREC equipment.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant dental experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with patients.
