Description
Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the U.S. and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Cafรฉ Tango! We are a growing, high-performance team in search of a Software Developer who is passionate about technology, loves to learn new things, and takes ownership of the products on which they work.
This is a highly collaborative, fully onsite role.
Salary range is $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software using established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code
  • Investigate, prototype, and implement solutions to complex system design challenges
  • Prioritize identifying and resolving bugs to ensure the best user experience
  • Collaborate with product managers and subject-matter experts to define roadmaps and anticipate technical roadblocks
  • Work closely with local and offshore engineering teams to ensure the highest level of code quality
  • Assist with other special projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Python (Django, Flask, or other frameworks) and REST APIs
  • Expert-level understanding of databases with an emphasis on SQL
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing applications in an Agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Understanding of software design principles and common design patterns
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Experience conducting in-depth code reviews
