Old Carolina Barbecue
Employment Type: Part-Time & Contractor
Location: Orrville, OH
Do you enjoy working in different places, meeting new people, and being part of great events? Old Carolina Barbecue is looking for Catering Associates to help bring our barbecue to weddings, corporate events, graduation parties, and community gatherings.
Every event is different - some days you may be delivering and setting up a buffet for a business lunch, while other days you may be part of a full-service team serving guests at a wedding or large celebration.
If you enjoy fast-paced work, teamwork, and creating great guest experiences, this could be a great fit for you.
Catering Associates also have the opportunity to receive tips on deliveries and events, increasing earning potential.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver catering orders to events safely and on time
  • Set up buffets, beverage stations, and service areas
  • Serve guests and assist during full-service catered events
  • Represent Old Carolina Barbecue with friendly and professional service
  • Ensure food looks great and is ready for guests to enjoy
  • Help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for event hosts and guests
  • Tear down and clean up after events when needed
  • Return to the store to unload, clean, and reset equipment for the next event
  • Assist with occasional delivery-only catering orders and buffet set-ups
  • Maintain and clean catering equipment and supplies
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Schedule
This is a part-time position with hours based on catering bookings.
