We are currently looking for a Manager Data & Analytics for our Houston, TX office.

 POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Leads the development and execution of enterprise data and analytics capabilities to drive business value, enable informed decision-making, and advance the organization’s data maturity. This role provides strategic leadership for the data team across engineering, analytics, reporting, and governance, driving scalable cloud solutions and high-value insights that enable business performance and enterprise decision-making.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of experience in data & analytics, with 3 -5+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience leading cross-functional data teams (engineering, analytics, reporting)
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.)
  • Experience with Power BI for dashboarding, reporting, and self-service analytics enablement
  • Familiarity with Alation or similar data governance/catalog tools
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data architectures
  • Industry experience in midstream energy or asset-intensive environments preferred 
  • Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery environments
  • Experience with Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and scalable processing

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python or similar languages

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Masters Degree
