Position Summary

The Senior Computer Program / Software Engineer – Modeling & Simulation is responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of advanced modeling and simulation systems used for analysis, training, mission planning, engineering evaluation, and decision support. This role develops high-performance software solutions that accurately model complex systems, operational environments, and real-world scenarios.

The engineer collaborates with systems engineers, data scientists, analysts, subject matter experts, and customers to develop simulation capabilities supporting defense, aerospace, government, research, and commercial programs.

Key Responsibilities Software Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software applications.
  • Implement algorithms representing physical systems, operational processes, and mission scenarios.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable software architectures.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with software engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
Modeling & Simulation Engineering
  • Develop mathematical, statistical, and physics-based models.
  • Build constructive, virtual, and live simulation environments.
  • Validate models against operational data and system requirements.
  • Analyze simulation results and recommend improvements.

Systems Integration
