Duties Description Assignment: The Computer Applications Programmer(s) will be assigned to one of the numerous application development teams within the Division of Technology and Court Research. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the courts.
Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with team members to design, develop, test, and implement new and existing applications and data exchanges.
• Working closely with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with court and administrative needs.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Adhering to best practices and standards in software development.
Depending on the application development team assignment, desirable skills will include proficiency in the following areas:
• Java utilizing the JavaEE or JakartaEE frameworks.
• C# and .NET utilizing Entity Framework, ASP.NET & IIS
• Understanding of relational database concepts including SQL.
• Oracle Database Server
• Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL
• Source control systems, such as Git.
• DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Preferred, but not required:
o Web application development experience
o Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
o Knowledge and/or experience with ADA Compliance
Minimum Qualifications JG-26 SENIOR ASSOCIATE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER
BASE SALARY: $99,490
QUALIFICATIONS: One year of service in the Associate Computer Applications Programmer or Computer Systems Programmer title; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of prior experience in computer systems analysis; or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience in computer programming or computer systems analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

JG-24 ASSOCIATE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER
BASE SALARY: $89,338
QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent competitive service in the Senior Computer Applications Programmer or the Computer Systems Programmer title; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of prior experience in computer programming; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three(3) years of experience in computer programming or computer systems analysis; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
