Job description

Associate, Data Analytics & Reporting

Function as a financial services business analyst responsible for performing and project managing data analytics (e.g., machine learning), monitoring portfolio health and identifying opportunities to drive industry leading operational excellence and exceptional customer experience. Leverage advanced modeling techniques to build forecasting models and machine learning techniques to understand the drivers of portfolio performance trends and identify solutions for improvements. Analyze data trends, utilize forecasting methods such as Time Series analysis, and leverage Machine Learning techniques such as Gradient Boost and Random Forest to perform deep dives and understand drivers and trends. Define functional requirements, service level objects (SLOs), quality-related measurements and scenario-based use cases in support of a product or project management lifecycle. Conduct process re-engineering and workflow design. Assist in the implementation of solutions to improve portfolio performance. Identify, document, and improve existing processes to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments, and adhere to any new compliance guidance through monitoring new client, business and regulatory needs. Provide analysis, design strategies for strategic projects and drive end-to-end project delivery. Work with desktop platforms and applications to ensure overall availability, while factoring in upstream or downstream system dependencies.

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: working in a business analyst role within the financial services sector; defining functional requirements, service level objects (SLOs), quality-related measurements and scenario-based use cases in support of a product or project management lifecycle; process re-engineering and workflow design; and working with desktop platforms and applications, ensuring overall availability, while factoring in upstream or downstream system dependencies.
