We are seeking an Associate to join our Data & Analytics team in New York, NY or Washington, DC. What You Will Be Doing:

Client Management

  • Assists client leads with administrative components of accounts, including agendas, notes, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Supports data and intelligence workstreams, taking ownership of defined tasks and contributing to team deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.

Collaboration

  • Engages across teams and works respectfully and effectively with colleagues in data, strategic communications, creative, and paid media.
  • Communicates effectively in 1:1 settings and small groups; can present findings to small internal audiences clearly and confidently.
  • Contributes to team learning by sharing knowledge with peers and supporting new team members. Provides direction to interns as needed.

Project & Time Management

  • Owns assigned tasks - updates trackers, meets deadlines without reminders, organizes documents for team sharing, and understands how work ladders up to larger client goals.
  • Manages multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong organizational skills and follow-through.

Strategy

  • Drafts reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables with little to no writing errors. Seeks feedback and incorporates it into written work.
  • Stays curious and resourceful - knows where to find answers and brings a problem-solving mindset to every assignment.
  • Conducts research to support strategic goals and client needs, knowing when to escalate issues to senior team members.

Data & Intelligence Specific

  • Supports social listening and digital intelligence workstreams, pulling, organizing, and summarizing monitoring data from platforms such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, or Sprinklr to help inform client strategy and communications activations.
  • Assists in the execution of primary research projects, including surveys and focus groups, supporting everything from fielding and data cleaning through analysis and reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, on time, and clearly communicated.
  • Contributes to reputation monitoring workflows, tracking client reputational landscapes and flagging emerging issues to senior team members with speed and clarity.
  • Supports the delivery of terrAIn, Precision's proprietary Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) offering; helping package and format GEO findings for client-facing reports and presentations.
  • Pulls data and builds reports for multiple clients with little to no edits needed; identifies patterns in data and helps bring them to life through clear, compelling narratives.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, research, communications, or a related field. Internship experience considered.
  • Familiarity with social listening, digital monitoring, or primary research tools and methodologies is a strong plus.
  • Ability to spot patterns in data and a passion for translating numbers into meaningful stories.
  • A resourceful, positive attitude and an eagerness to solve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - fluency with Excel a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $58,500 - $62,000.

We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of working days per month.
