Summary

This role serves as a senior manager responsible for leading strategic data operations, governance, and analytics initiatives to maximize the value of enterprise data assets. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue, business innovation, operational efficiencies and informed decision-making through the effective use of data.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data strategy aligned with organizational goals, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive revenue and improve overall business performance.
• Lead the development and deployment of enterprise data and analytics platforms, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Foster a data-driven decision-making culture and leverage data to support strategic and tactical business opportunities.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business units to perform data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making and improve business performance.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of data architecture, including data models and integration solutions.
• Implement measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on data management best practices to foster a data-driven culture.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors involved in data management and analytics.
• Supervise others, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, motivating, and training. Will typically supervise a staff of exempt associates.
• Conduct regular meetings and provide frequent feedback to associates to develop them and provide a career path.
• Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
• Understand, communicate, and instill the Company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
• Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
• Other specified duties as assigned.

• Snowflake experience preferred; data warehouse experience required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years' experience in data strategy, reporting & analytics, and/or data science
• Previous bank experience preferred.
• Prior senior leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The work environment is typical of a standard office setting. It involves sitting most of the time but may also involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Reaching may be required involving extending arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used requiring the use of hands and fingers to manipulate a keyboard or keypad. Visual ability to read a computer screen or written documents is necessary. Speaking ability to express or exchange ideas; impart oral information to customers or to the public; or convey detailed or important spoken instructions by means of the spoken word is required. Hearing is necessary to receive detailed information through oral communication.

Compensation & Benefits

The Dir, Data Strategy & Governance position pays a minimum of $175,000.00. This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation annually, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
