Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our clients team. This role is responsible for using advanced, non-machine-learning analytic techniques to investigate well-defined business questions, synthesize findings, and deliver actionable insights. The Data Analyst will partner closely with management and stakeholders to clearly define problems, explore and analyze data, and present results in a way that drives business decisions and improves video products. This role is responsible for using Alteryx, SQL, Excel, and Tableau to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role requires 4 days per week in the Denver, CO office. Only candidates who are located in the Denver, CO area will be considered for this position. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Requirements

  • Partner with the management team to ensure business questions are clearly defined, scoped, and actionable.
  • Leverage domain knowledge of the cable/telecom industry to quickly understand issues and data context.
  • Self-starter that can take ownership of critical projects from conception to actionable recommendations, directly impacting company strategy and driving measurable performance outcomes.
  • Develop ETL workflows in Alteryx or SQL to transform, clean, and join data from multiple sources into analysis-ready datasets.
  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that track core KPIs and business performance for executive stakeholders.
  • Translate analytic findings into a clear, compelling narrative supported by charts, figures, and tables. Findings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with emphasis on reliability, operations, or telecom preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau are required. Alteryx experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior leaders
  • Detail-oriented and data savvy, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proven ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, with ability to apply appropriate analytic techniques.
  • Experience working in the cable/telecom industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an expected salary rate of $90,000-$110,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
