What You'll do
As a Replenishment Analyst II you will be: playing a vital role in optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring the availability of products across our retail channels. The Replenishment Analyst II is responsible for analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and developing effective replenishment strategies to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to identify patterns and forecast future product needs accurately.
  • Develop and implement replenishment strategies that optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize sales.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product replenishment and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Review and adjust inventory parameters, such as reorder points, lead times, and safety stock levels, based on demand forecasts and historical data.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to establish effective communication channels, monitor performance, and resolve any issues related to product availability or quality.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to senior management on key performance metrics, including sales, inventory turnover, and forecast accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve replenishment processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Train and mentor Replenishment Analysts, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Essential Qualities for Success
  • At least 4 years of relevant replenishment analyst experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proven experience as a replenishment analyst or in a similar role within the retail industry, preferably with exposure to high-volume sales environments.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software, demand planning tools, and advanced Excel functions for data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, inventory control, and replenishment strategies.
  • Familiarity with retail operations, product lifecycle management, and category management practices.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software including Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to meticulously review and analyze information, identifying errors or inconsistencies to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills to negotiate and influence stakeholders' at various levels in the organization.
  • Strong understanding of retail business practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address issues, minimizing potential delays or disruptions.
