Security Officer (Unarmed) Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  • Monitor and Authorize Entrance and Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Students.
  • Patrol Campus with assigned Security Vehicle to ensure Employees, Students and Building are Secured.
  • Direct Traffic
  • Contact Emergency Responders, such as Police, Fire Department, and/or Ambulance Personnel, as Needed.
  • Writes Reports of Unusual Activities and Events.
  • Communicate with Staff and Management as Needed.

Security Officer Qualifications:

  • Retired Law Enforcement Preferred.
  • Experienced Security Officer Preferred.
  • Applicant must provide a certified copy of Driver's License
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.
  • Seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of Five (5) years of Security Experience.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of Customer Service experience preferred
  • Must Be 23 years old and older
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation
  • Hours: Flexible Shift Work
  • Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required
