Job description

Russ Hadick & Assocites, Inc has been retained by a client to search and qualify candidates for their Chief Engineer popening. This person provides technical leadership and strategic direction for the engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and execution of new systems, including both standard products and highly customized engineered solutions. This position serves as the company''''s highest technical authority for product engineering and is responsible for ensuring engineering excellence, product quality, innovation, safety, and compliance across the organization''''s crane portfolio.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong electrical engineering background with extensive experience in machine controls, motor drives, automation, power distribution, and industrial control systems. While providing leadership across mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering disciplines, the Chief Engineer is expected to be the organization''''s subject matter expert in electrical systems and emerging technologies.

This job offers an additional 25%-30% bonus on top of the salary.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial equipment, heavy machinery, automation, or engineered-to-order manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5+ years leading engineering teams and technical organizations.
  • Extensive experience with electrical systems, industrial controls, and automation.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams preferred
