Impact Property Solutions is searching for a Warehouse Associate I for our branch operations. This position is responsible supporting and assisting the daily loadout of contract installers. The Warehouse Associate I will support the shipping and receiving process as well as maintain the warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure.


Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight
  • Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. 
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Filling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area.
  • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
  • Weighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Warehouse Associate I Competencies

  • Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company's safety processes.
  • Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Experience and ability using computer programs preferred

Requirements

Warehouse Associate I Education and Work Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license required
  • 1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred. 
  • Forklift Certified preferred. 
  • Flooring Industry knowledge is a plus
  • RFMS Systems Experience is a plus
