Our client is a global leader in engineered materials and optoelectronic components and develops innovative products for diversified applications in the industrial, optical communications, life sciences, semiconductor equipment, and consumer markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates customer software development proposals
  • Clarifies and refines project scopes while creating a detailed work breakdown plan
  • Executes the software development plan, ensuring that IRES ISO software development project procedures are followed
  • Regularly provide status updates for all software projects
  • Routinely integrate hardware systems and create structured databases
  • Maintains a modern software skillset and reusable codebase
  • Regularly collaborate with software co-workers to share best practices and code
  • Suggest and support a vision for software development that is rapid, predictable, and of high quality
  • Provides ongoing project, consulting, and software support including Q&A, small software code snippets, bug fixes, and usability enhancements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Physics and 5-7 years of experience in high technology processes related to electronic products, or production of automation software and system development. Familiarity with CAD tools for software and electronic hardware design. Experienced in software development lifestyle and configuration controls.
