Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Facility Drafter/Designer with a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in conveying systems and equipment layout within facility design. The ideal candidate will have experience in a CAD and Revit modeling environment, with a focus on graphics-based applications and equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities Include

  • Create and modify 3D models and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D.
  • Develop equipment layouts and facility designs with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Conduct field specification work, including confirmation measurements and verification of components and existing conditions.
  • Coordinate with engineers and managers to ensure accurate and efficient design processes.

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience using CAD software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD/Plant 3D
  • Exposure or interest in facility layouts pertaining to HVAC, Plumbing & Equipment
  • Cad experience: Associates degree or industry experience
  • Strong mechanical drafting and design skills
  • Familiarity with industrial facility layouts and mechanical systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
