The Associate Biomedical Equipment Technician serves our patients through creative, high quality, biomedical equipment support and technical assistance for clinical associates in a professional, timely and cost effective manner. Collaborates in work groups to prepare, coordinate and present formal and informal training programs related to equipment theory, safety, operation, inspection and repair as scheduled or required.
Travels for manufacturer or third party service training when required on an ongoing basis to maintain satisfactory competence and performance.
Documents all activities and occurrences related to medical equipment management programs as required by Biomedical Electronics policies and procedures. Assists in maintaining records, producing reports and analyzing data as required.
Reviews and meets ongoing competency requirements of the role to maintain the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform, within scope, role specific functions. Maintains knowledge of new technical skills, techniques, instrumentation and advances in related areas.

Associates degree required in Biomedical Engineering, Equipment Technology, Electronics or related field required for all levels.
