Job Overview:

MRP is seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer / Laser Technician to join our Park City, Utah team. In this role, you will work to diagnose, repair, and maintain both on-site and remotely with MRP. While at Powered By MRP, you will install, modify, and repair laser and energy based devices. You will sharpen your understanding of the aesthetics industry, master your technical skills, and conquer the opportunity to disrupt an outdated industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on aesthetic laser equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.

  • Ability to operate basic electronic and laser test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, Ophir energy meters, etc

  • Troubleshoot technical issues both remotely and on-site, providing solutions that minimize downtime and disruption to the client

  • Execute technical tasks involved in installing, modifying, and repairing laser and energy based devices

  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including issues, repairs, and maintenance performed

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain complex technical information clearly and understandably

  • Willingness to travel to client sites and flexibility to accommodate their schedules when applicable

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical insights and improve customer satisfaction

  • Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and high-quality service

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in laser, electronics, or related field preferred

  • Possess basic skills in mechanical assembly and light equipment handling

  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and other relevant software

  • Excellent customer service

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
