Job description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Tucson, AZ as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform prescribed CT procedures in accordance with department policies and protocols. You will produce high quality images, educate patients and families, maintain documentation, perform equipment quality control, and support efficient department workflow. You must adhere to safety, regulatory, ethical, and confidentiality standards while collaborating with medical imaging, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • State licensure required for AZ; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
  • Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of CT experience.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, human relations, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 1900-0730.
  • Night shift schedule.
  • May require varied work schedule as noted by facility requirements.
