Associate Attorney
Insurance Defense Attorney (1-3 Years Experience)
Location: Pensacola, FL
Are you an early-career attorney looking to build your litigation skills with a respected law firm? Our client is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join its growing Pensacola office.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and manage your own caseload while receiving mentorship and professional development.
Responsibilities
  • Manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred)
