We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Plaintiff Personal Injury practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 1–5 years of litigation experience who enjoys advocating for injured clients and wants to gain significant courtroom exposure while managing cases from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through trial or settlement.
  • Represent clients in motor vehicle accident and premises liability matters.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
  • Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
  • Prepare cases for jury and bench trials.
  • Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process, providing regular communication and legal guidance.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, experts, investigators, and opposing counsel.
  • Develop litigation strategies designed to maximize client outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Virginia Bar membership required.
  • Admission in DC and/or Maryland is a plus.
  • 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Experience handling motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • Trial experience or meaningful courtroom experience is strongly preferred.
