Job description

Multi-practice law firm with more than 14 locations throughout Florida and the United States is looking for an ambitious and motivated attorney that has experience in civil litigation, experience with First-Party Property, General Liability, or similar is preferred.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing top-tier legal representation to the firms diverse range of clients in the insurance industry. The Insurance Defense Associate will work closely with the partners and senior associates, gaining unparalleled experience and mentor-ship in handling complex insurance defense matters. Responsibilities will encompass legal research, drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, engaging in settlement negotiations, and representing clients in court proceedings. This is a full-time position based out of the firms Tampa, FL office, however, the firm is open to candidates interested in remote and hybrid schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide accurate and well-reasoned advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and contribute to the overall litigation process.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, witness interviews, and client consultations.
  • Engage in negotiation efforts to achieve favorable settlements and resolutions for clients.
  • Represent clients in various court proceedings, including hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Qualifications:
