Job description

Remote - Boston, MA

Regional collection law firm seeks experienced MA attorney with 2-5+ years of District Court trial experience. The attorney will attend regular court appearances for conferences and motions as well as work both independently and collaboratively on litigated matters.

Position Summary:

ยท Daily court appearances both in-person and virtual for conferences, motions and other matters on the courtsโ€™ calendars.

ยท Responsible for managing a caseload and assignments of litigated and non-litigated claims.

ยท Develop and implement litigation strategy, review and approve pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement agreements and other hands-on drafting related to the firmโ€™s practice.

ยท Work directly with firm senior management and firm clients to lead matters to positive resolution.

ยท Partner with firm paralegal and support staff in producing and responding to legal demands.

Requirements:

ยท J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.

ยท Admitted to and in good standing with MA bar.

ยท Self-directed professional with attention to detail and ability to manage workload and

ยท Prioritize appropriately.

ยท This position requires regular travel.

ยท Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ยท Ability to establish trusted partnerships with internal and external clients.

ยท Ability to work as a team player and with collaborative assignments.

ยท Ability to maintain confidential information and acceptable standards of office and professional conduct.
