Job description

Role Summary

  • The Associate Analyst provides fundamental equity research support for our Healthcare team
  • 3-5 year structured program offering extensive training and mentoring, designed to develop future analysts
  • Exceptional performers have potential to be promoted to Equity Research Analyst
  • Diverse responsibilities including company/industry related research projects, collaboration with portfolio managers, and extensive financial analysis
  • Opportunity to interact with public company CEOs and CFOs both in our offices and on the road

  • Expectation to provide investment insight and impact the investment process, not just number crunching

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a strong academic background AND
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience (healthcare services research or banking experience preferred)
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills including previous experience building three-statement models

Preferred:

  • Highly motivated, confident self-starter with ability to work independently and with others
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics which can be additive to the investment process
  • Completion of at least level 1 of the CFA preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
