Job Description

Title : Sr. PeopleSoft Functional Consultant

 Location : Glendale, MN

 Duration : 3+ months

 A direct Minnesota client seeks a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant who is highly experienced/skilled with General Ledger (GL) and Commissions to provide recommendation on how to best leverage delivered PeopleSoft technology to get to best practice with core transaction/business processes. The client would like a complete fit/gap analysis regarding capturing the financial transaction and all attributes related to a sales associate accounting project.


MUST HAVE experience with: 

PeopleSoft version 8.9;

People Tools Version 8.5027

Versatile in General Ledger,

nVision reporting with an understanding of how the other modules flow through to General Ledger (OM, Billing, Purchasing, Inventory, Cost Accounting, AP, AR, commission)

Duties: 

Review current PeopleSoft core transactions process flow including Sales Order flow (OM, Billing, GL), purchase order flow (Purchasing, Inventory, Cost Accounting, AP, GL), Accounts Receivable flow

Review current customized commission module from commission calculations, data table creation, payment process, commission contracts

Review of financial transaction entries from submodule through to general ledger, understanding key attributes to be captured for gross profit calculations

Review reporting methodology, corporate financials to sales associate reporting needs including commission data tables, customized OES reporting, and nVision financial reporting

Review of high level Sales Associate Accounting requirements and key deliverables of project

Deliverables: 

Recommendation on how to best leverage delivered PeopleSoft technology to get to best practice with the core transaction/business processes.  

Complete fit/gap analysis regarding capturing the financial transaction and all attributes related to a sales associate accounting project.

Recommendation on commission calculation engine outside of the core transaction utilizing PeopleSoft tools or another software technology

Recommendation on data capture and reporting tool utilizing PeopleSoft tools or another software technology/database
