Job description

Purpose of Position - Serves as a bridge between L'Arche and Imagine! by cultivating a vibrant, inclusive community where people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities share life together. This role champions belonging, mutual relationships, and person-centered living by combining hands-on support with thoughtful leadership. The Residential Program Supervisor ensures that each Core Member experiences a meaningful, connected life while guiding teams to deliver high-quality, fiscally sustainable, compliant, and values-driven services. Through presence, partnership, and leadership, this position helps bring to life a model of care that is relational, dignified, and deeply rooted in community and ensures all are confident and competent in their shared living and wrap around services roles. Maintains professional and meaningful relationships with all individuals receiving services, contractors, and stakeholders

 Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 Community and Direct Support:

  • Provides direct care and support within homes and community settings, modeling high-quality, person-centered practices and building authentic relationships with Core Members.
  • Participates in shared daily life activities (e.g., meals, community outings, celebrations, and routines) to foster belonging and mutuality.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive services to people with disabilities in the Fort Collins community.
  • Coaches staff in real-time through side-by-side support, demonstrating relational, respectful, and trauma-informed approaches

Leadership and Program Oversight:

  • Ensures a respectful, person-centered environment through mutually transforming relationships among people with and without disabilities.
  • Translates the shared values of Imagine! and L'Arche into daily practice, supporting a culture of inclusion, dignity, and belonging.
  • Selects, trains, onboards, and mentors staff and contractors, emphasizing both relational care and operational excellence.
  • Oversees scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day program needs while maintaining continuity and quality of services.

Person-Centered Support and Advocacy:

  • Implements each Core Member's Person-Centered Support Plan, and actively supports individuals in pursuing their goals, relationships, and community engagement.
  • Attends Member Identified Team Meetings, and serves as a community-based advocate, ensuring voices of Core Members are central.
  • Maintains consistent, meaningful engagement with individuals, families, and teams through regular check-ins and relationship-building. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly check-ins and quarterly meetings.

Communications and Partnership:

  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders across Imagine! and L'Arche communities.
  • Establishes feedback loops that prioritize connection, listening, and continuous improvement.
  • Supports alignment between organizations, helping navigate differences in approach while reinforcing shared mission and values.

Compliance and Operations:

  • Completes all necessary paperwork and reporting to maintain regulatory compliance of the services provided as well as compliance with Imagine!'s guiding principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Manages provider payment, including swift resolution of concerns.
  • Submits unit requests, receives service plan revisions and collaborates with members of the billing team to ensure funding is in place for services.
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of data in the electronic health records and all other systems used in support of this program.

Other Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Participates in organizational efforts to improve processes, collaboration, and quality service delivery.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Imagine! services, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • General knowledge of long term care services and supports system in Colorado.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations governing the disability services system.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
  • Effective and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others.
  • Ability to work effectively with various technologies including word processing software, internet based databases, assistive technology, etc.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet Imagine! driving requirements.
  • This position requires regular use of a personal vehicle with liability insurance that meets Imagine! standards.
  • This position requires regular use of a personal mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

            Training/Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.   

            Experience:

  • Three years of related experience OR associates degree plus one-year related experience.  
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

            Working Environment/Physical Activities

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment. 
  • Regular travel throughout the Front Range area.
  • Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise.
