About the Role:

At Pine View Terrace Assisted Living, our "team delivers upon the dreams" of our residents. As an assisted living attendant, you play a critical role in providing compassionate and personalized care to senior residents within our senior community. This role requires an individual who can accept responsibility for completion of tasks without immediate supervision at all times. As a member of our care team, your role ensures that residents receive quality scheduled and unscheduled cares to include medication assistance. Your compassion, empathy and desire to make a difference in the lives of the residents who live at Pine View Terrace will be the reason to join our our dynamic team. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in assisted living, elder care, or a related caregiving role preferred, not required.
  • Established paid orientation and training process
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet state-specific requirements for assisted living attendants.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
  • Dependability, Good Attendance Record
  • Willing to complete paid training program and orientations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. (one assist without lift)
  • Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to site lead/manager.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement in community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of residents’ living spaces and common areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or urgent resident needs, following established procedures.
  • Shift openings: 11 pm - 7 am; 3 pm - 11pm, 7am - 3pm, includes rotating weekends
  • Can be your perfect shift or your way to access other shift opportunities as they become available.

Skills:

The required skills such as effective communication and compassionate caregiving are essential for daily interactions with residents, ensuring their needs are understood and met with empathy. As a "one-assist" facility, our residents do not require the use of a mechanical lift or physical lift. Dietary serving or housekeeping experience will be a plus. Attention to detail and organizational skills are used to comply with regulatory standards and maintain accurate care records.
