Pay Rate Scale $19.10 to 19.65 Based on Experience
Overview:
Performs various tasks to ensure the cleanliness the unit and resident rooms
Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be alert and active in supporting The Village's commitment to safe practices
- infection control, and respect for residents' rights
- Vacuum rooms with carpeting
- Sweep and mop tile floors;Â
- Clean bathroom sinks, showers, baths, and toilets
- Clean mirrors
- Move furniture as needed to permit cleaning
- Change bedding, including turning of mattresses
- Participates actively in team efforts to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Follows isolation and infection control procedures
- Watches out for residents' personal items to ensure they are not lost or misplaced.
- Assists with housemen's duties as needed, including trash removal, floor care, furniture moving, supply deliveries, and other environmental services support tasks to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the community.
